Commissions
We don't just create model homes...
We are happy to discuss commissions for any model, not just homes or places of work.
If there is a location that has a special place in your heart and you would love to have a miniature version of your own then contact us. Provided we can get enough photos and information to enable us to generate a viable design, we are happy to explore any potential model.
We are happy to explore any form of model, but our main interest is in buildings and structures but please feel free to discuss any ideas you might have by contacting us.
A few examples of our other work...
Appley Tower, Ryde Isle of Wight
Appley Tower is a Folly that overlooks Appley beach in Ryde on the Isle of Wight. It is something of an iconic image of Ryde and one that I have long wanted to capture in bricks, not least because it poses some significant design challenges from a Lego perspective.
Firstly, and most obviously, it is predominantly round in shape and Lego tends to be better suited to straight lines. Trying to capture the contours was a big challenge. Secondly, the colouring was challenging. If you compare the model with the photo you will see that the model is a grey colour. The windows are perhaps a closer match to the colour of the real tower in the photo, but using that colour would have reduced the ability to select complementary colours to highlight features.
